Digital Marketing Coordinator
The Digital Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in increasing the visibility, reach, and impact of our orthopaedic research, fellowship program, and clinical innovation efforts. This role is responsible for creating engaging digital content, managing our brand presence across platforms, and coordinating outreach that supports strategic goals in education, innovation, and collaboration. The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented communicator with strong writing and visual design skills, digital marketing experience, and a passion for health and science communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Health, or a related field

1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related role (healthcare or research exposure an asset)

Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities for diverse audiences

Proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)

Experience managing social media channels and creating engaging online content

Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic environment

Strong interpersonal skills and an interest in research, medicine, or healthcare communication

Key Responsibilities & Time Allocation

Digital Marketing & Content Creation – 40%

Develop and execute content strategies for digital channels (web, social media, email) aligned with organizational priorities

Create and publish engaging written and visual content including blog posts, social media copy, infographics, and video scripts

Collaborate with clinical and research teams to translate scientific findings into accessible and engaging formats

Manage content calendars and optimize digital outreach across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and email campaigns
-
Track content performance using analytics tools and apply insights to enhance reach and engagement

Brand Management & Strategic Communication – 30%

Support brand development and ensure consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging across platforms

Design digital and print assets that align with the organization’s identity and objectives

Contribute to knowledge translation and strategic communications to highlight research, education, and innovation

Support internal and external communications and alignment with clinical/research leadership on messaging and goals

Community Outreach & Partnerships – 20%

Coordinate relationship-building efforts with healthcare professionals, research institutions, and academic partners

Develop outreach campaigns to support fellowships, educational programs, and collaborative initiatives

Build and maintain stakeholder lists and coordinate communications with external partners and the broader community

Project Planning & Coordination – 10%

Support project timelines, content development workflows, and campaign planning

Assist in organizing events, photoshoots, or video production as needed

Attend strategy sessions and team meetings, contributing ideas that support engagement and growth
